Accommodation is easy. I assume you want to rent. Plenty of apartments are available. Regarding job that would be harder and it will be difficult to get one without coming here. How old are you? Are you single? If you are young and single then just book some hotel here for 2-3 weeks and use that time to find apartment and work. If you are moving with a family then you should make a lot more research before you decide to move here. Even if you can find a job here the wage will almost certainly be lower than what you get in the UK. In what area of Cyprus are you planning to move to?

By the way, when you say lifeguard, do you have some sort of recognized certificate for this job?

Welcome Liam.
I favor EU residents above illegal immigrants unlike some of my brethren.
Bring your skills.

When you say "move" do you mean just for summer? Keep in mind Ayia Napa is a summer resort. In the winter almost everything is closed. Most work there is seasonal.
