Lack of Planning

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Lack of Planning

Postby boulio » Sun Apr 10, 2011 6:22 pm

another article in cyprus mail by ROlandis about the ROC and the blown oppurtunites.I have a question because Rolandis always writes these articles and puts blame on the g/c for rejectoing so many plans however when you look for these plans on the web you relaly dont find much.In this article he refers again to the anglo-american-canadian plan of 1978 and the UN Secretary-General Perez de Cuellar proposed the "Indicators'.

Does anyone have details of these plans ?

Also in the article he falsifies information as "we implemeted the Makarios 13 points"and makes stateemtns as thow he is rsponsible for the cypriot eez and gas finds.Dosent seem very objective and trust worthy reminds me ofa certain g/c on this board.

Rolandis is just another traitor like Bananiot. Why bother to give him any credibility?

People need to be convinced, that's all. The only things that should be 'credible' in this debate are the bare facts, not interpretations of facts which various folk call 'truth'.

Rolandis is one of the sad cases of insignificance in Cyprus trying desparetly to prove some sort...any sort of significance.

He was a mediocre minister who at one point while minister of commerce had decided to build a statue of Aphrodite as big as the statue of liberty, outside Paphos. Thankfully a re-shuffle saved the whole country from this buffoons imagination.

His other biggest achievement are his writings with regards to his service under Presient Spyros Kyprianou. He has written about every single foreign policy disaster kyprianou's govt got itself into. All excellent accounts from right smack in the front line. Did this idiot ever think that foreign policy blunder after blunder should have at least made the foreign minister quit? Not when that minister's Rolandis.

Some say he stuck around so that he could write about it later.

As for the oil and gas, please refer to the same illness plaguing Al Gore when he declared he invented the Internet while in congress. (at least Al Gore was VP of a superpower)

Rolandis is what in Greek we would call "psonio". He is basically a loser with too big of an idea for himself. I have no time to waste reading articles by Rolandis, but to answer your question, the only comprehensive plan ever proposed was the Annan plan.

The rest were just some "ideas" which were in any case rejected by Denktash, and some vague proposals (like the anglo-american-canadian plan) which were either even worst than the Annan plan, or could easily be worst once the necessary details were filled in.

The important point is that this is our island. We are not going to accept what foreign Imperialists want to impose on Cyprus. The only thing we will accept is for our island to be freed from foreign oppressors so we can democratically take our own decisions for our own island.
