Forceps take too long! Just use a lighter next to the tic’s bum… they instantly let go and drop to the ground!

Nasty little blood suckers.

I know! Some of them are really fat and full of blood, i keep removing them every day but they keep appearing... do they lay eggs on the dog?

Easiest way to remove is to take a fork. Slide the tick between two prongs as far as it goes and lever off.

If you grip with your fingers you risk bursting the tick and leaving it's 'fangs' in the dogs that can cause infection.

be sure to kill the tick once off.

But Frontline does work.

Seems we need a few gallons of it on Bananiotoglu and his Parasite mates.

ciao Alex, ticks are carried by goats and sheep, and I tell you from my experience that if ticks continue to infest the dog will most likely mean that even his doghouse and garden are full.
There is also a spray to the environment of the brand always frontline or strongold.
I also sometimes take off using the lighter and it is true that die but the head of the tick remains under the skin and can lead to infection.
That bulge you see yellow coloured is full of eggs so once removed you must burn all...
Are dangerous also for humans, childrens playing in the garden....
take care :?

if that is the same thing.
