Naval and air forces from USA, Greece and Israel today concluded joint exercises in the area between Crete and Cyprus. The scenarios included air defence, interdiction, rescue and submarine warfare.

Briefly, this exercise «Noble Dina 11» which was until last year held between Israel and the U.S. in the same region of the Eastern Mediterranean and has a significant position in the list of importance of the annual exercises of the two countries. It's the first time Greece has participated in this exercise, which thus far has been exclusively conducted between USA and Israel. It includes: 8 surface vessels, 2 submarines and various choppers and aircraft.

The exercise will be held south of our easternmost territories, the Castellorizo/Megisti island complex and it's going to expand towards Souda and Haifa in Israel.
