Make sure you explain your viewpoint to the 50,000 T/C protesters as well. Before things get out of control...

You obviously don't know that the next big rally is planned for later this month. Under the banner of "societal existence" in case you missed it. I don't see any "long live Denktash chants" either. Quite a few "Fuck off, Turkey" though...

Dont get to excited as it wont amount to much, without financial independence the TCs can do absolutely nothing to get rid of Turkey, you people are so stupid.

Are you just out of nursery? So many errors in one sentence it's difficult to know where to start.

If you still don't get it, try again (and remember this is from a Turk):

Although we have risked the suspension of our EU membership negotiations, Cyprus may cause a loss of reputation for Turkey in the eyes of the international community, particularly with the EU. Turkey may insist on stressing that it has gone to the island as a guarantor, but it is quickly becoming a country that is unwanted in the island. It is true that the international community is not happy with the presence of Turkey and its soldiers on the island.

The Greek Cypriots and Greece, it can be argued, are happy with these developments and even secretly support them. But this does not alter the reality: If Turkey loses the support of the people of Cyprus, it will not be able to maintain its already controversial presence on the island. Thus, the island is looking like a highly explosive bomb in the hands of Turkey.

Whats gonna change? how long do you need to understand that you are stupid?

Oy, VP! Whatever the truth or otherwise about Hermes' alleged stupidity a remark like this which simply does not adress the issue, in contrast to Hermes' rather more cnstructive response showing the fallacy of your posiion, shows that you are as every bit as stupid as you allege Hermes is. Now wind your neck in.

Hang on! I was quoting from a published Turkish commentator. He's the one who said that the protests have exposed Turkey as an occupying power in Cyprus. And that the protests are a time-bomb for Turkey. I happen to agree. But if you don't like the opinions expressed, I am not the author. For your information you can write a letter of complaint to the author here:

[email protected]

Now if you want to reply to his comment here feel free, but don't go around insulting people when they are quoting others for the purposes of debate. Either make a constructive point or if you have nothing to say don't bother to fucking post at all.

Yet another solution to our problem that includes us sitting idle on our comfy chairs while things just happen. Yeap, this is definitely promising!
