More Kinect games or Move?

Postby SKI-preo » Fri Apr 08, 2011 3:47 am

The gaming battle is on Kinect versus Move, Wii is a joke.

I 've had the 360 Kinect for about 6 months and it is awesome but I have a voucher to either get a move package or more Kinect games. I already have the PS3 console as It came for free when I bought my TV.

Most gamers I know have Kinect but nobody has Move.

Has anyone tried Move?

If you get the Move then wouldn't you also have to spend more money to get games for it?

I have a Wii - I think it is okay for what it is and does. If nothing else, it has introduced millions to gaming that wouldn't be able to get their heads around a traditional interface.

However, I wanted something that offered HD so I could use it in my cinema.

I had a read around as you do and eventually decided on the PS3/Move combination. Partly I have to say as it offers some things that the XBox didn't like iPlayer which is useful out here...

It arrived yesterday and I'm very impressed. Very easy to set up and the fine control that you have is absolutely staggering - certainly compared to the Wii.

I would imagine that actually holding the controller would make Move more suitable/accurate for some games while the XBox might suit others better... probably horses for courses...
