I have been to the Kythrea Cemetery. I have 2 family (through marriage) buried there. Have a further 8 family (through marriage) either in mass graves or wells (2 of which have been found) the remaining still missing. You may know the infamous photograph of 5 GC soldiers on their knees with a Turkish APC in the background.

We placed a little wild flower (whatever we could find at the time) at his (my partner's relative) gravesite, the other person we were looking for, we could not find. A TC came up to us and warned us to get out of the cemetery because the grass was long and it was hot with the possibility of some venomous snakes.

You are so wrong, to make these accusations you need proof, its called libel. I could say you would do this, but doesn't make it true. Troube with Bananiotoglu, is that, if any GC don't agree with this defeatist mentality and appease you and your lot, then we must be facists and racists and bigots and cretins. Thank you Alan, accepted. I would not do such a dispicable thing, there has to be some level of respect even through bad times.

I do not condone the killing of innocent men, women and children, and have never support any mass killings of the TCs, irrespective of what people may think of me here. I think it's true to say that the GCs here also condemn it, but the likes of Bananiotioglu and Birkturk, try to make out it is all one sided and that the TCs are angels and are guilty of nothing. This really pisses me off.

When a group of TC's embarked on a venture to clean up the GC cemetary in Kyrenia and called upon GC's to help out, only TWO of us responded. The rest stayed at home.

I object to anyone calling a whole race of people barbarians. There are good GC's and good TC's as there are bad GC's and bad TC's. Those that desecrate cemetries are the lowest forms of life and do not be fooled by fascists. They are capable of anything, they have proven this in the past on many occasions.

it was ....from warnings and CD's handed over the UN they clear it.

i will find the picture of it for u later on.....some of them has been made car car park now ...completly razed of.... only one way to stop this way is act with civilian sociaties they can protect and help and stop such a actiones....it doebn't help by using the Christianity or other names to make propaganda ...by talking and informing and warnnings everything can be solved..... not just putting fire on it .
