to who do you have unsupervised trade to VP.Lets debate seriously.WIth turkey she exports a billion dollars to the north how much do you export to Turkey?

In 2008 we imported 1.2billion usd and exported 42million usd, we have no industry to speak of so of course this figure will be low in comparison.

Quote:
Again you negotiate and someone presents you something you ask for more ie all ports to be opened in the north for turkey to open up her ports to the ROC.The Anakara protocol has nothing to do with you,it has to do with Turkey and the ROC.

Its an offer not anything we asked for, just because its on offer doesnt make it the right offer you forget that we have the right to say no, this is not exclusive to GCs. If th EU is after normalisation then its a 2 way street, dont forget Turkey doesnt recognize the south in its current form so any normalisation means ports for ports

so you proved my point about the boost to the t/c economy that the direct trade to the EU will have.Just as by granting traDE STATUS TO FAMAGUSTA port will not amount to recognition to the north so will granting port access to the ROC will not amount to recognition either.

What exactly would we export to boost our economy? you are trying to get a lot for very little, now direct flights and a boost to our tourism would be another matter.
