Along the same path it is on right now, look Turkey is not European nor should it try to be, it is a middle eastern country with a 80 million Muslim population, they do not want to be "European" it is only the perspective they are after to keep foreign investors rolling in.
And where do you think those foreign investors will go once Turkey's EU accession stops?
As I said Turkey doesn't care about joining or it would have taken the necessary action, the likelihood that it "may" take steps is more important than any damage that EU can do, which it could have done over the last 7 years only shows how ineffective they really are and that your little plan to use the Eu to force Turkey has and will not work.
