How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Would you like to talk about the massacred unarmed TCs by fucking eoka members?

There is no doubt that Famagusta is a monument to Turkish barbarism. First in the atrocities that led to its abandonment. And since 1974 as Turkey's visible legacy as occupier of the island.

Turkey couldn't have devised a better testament to its belligerence and stupidity than keeping the ghost city of Famagusta under occupation. You'd think they'd be ashamed and embarrassed. But not the Turk. Only a Turk could take pride in his own inhumanity and moral degradation...

So now that little fantasy is over, have you got a more constructive suggestion that would end the obscenity and indignity of having Turkish troops "protecting" an abandoned town?

It is land won after a war. Not to be given back. Unless you offer something in exchange of course.

War? I thought it was a peace operation?

Brought peace to us by kicking enemy ass so it is indeed a peace operation.

Pity the majority of T/Cs have all fled from the consequences of this "peace operation" to be replaced by settlers. And the few remaining T/Cs who were bribed to stay are having to compete with Anatolian goat-herders for jobs in the private sector. Isn't "peace" great? Pretty soon the Turkish "peace operation" will have wiped out all the T/Cs and everyone will thank Turkey for a job well done.

Indeed. That's why the majority of T/Cs have all fled from the consequences of this "peace operation" to be replaced by settlers. And the few remaining T/Cs who were bribed to stay are having to compete with Anatolian goat-herders for jobs in the non-existent private sector. Pretty soon the Turkish "peace operation" will have comprehensively decimated and humiliated the T/Cs. Is it any wonder they are now having to protest the consequences of this "peace operation"? But some idiots will still come on this forum to thank Turkey for a job well done.

Have you run out of medicine again? The "trnc" is going down the toilet. It can't even pay its "public workers" never mind open and run Famagusta. Its citizens are in open revolt and Turkish commentators are openly talking about a bomb about to explode in northern Cyprus. I'd try and keep your delusions under control if I were you...
