I think you are being cruel and mischivous,VP...Stop reminding our GC cousins that they are totally helpless when it comes to what happens in the North of Cyprus...They like to believe that they are the only legitimate power in Cyprus. They have been using the RoC executive power all by themselves for so long that they have forgotten how they came about occupying the government benches in 1963...They think their trickery will go unnoticed by the world forever..How dare you wake them up from their delusion...!!!Let them keep their heads in the sand, and wait for the 'balance of power to change' so they can liberate Cyprus...In the meantime, when the number of settlers (pardon, new TCs) reach 1 million mark, there will be no other option but to open up the rest of the 'unoccupied North' to settlement...There are plenty of Turkish building companies now sitting idle while Libya liberates herself from their dictator that would love the opportunity to put their expertise to work in Varoshia (sorry,Marash!)...
easy chico i really doubt that any g/c considers you his cousin except for Bananoit, however the ROC has made a offer to give the right to the t/c to use the facilities of the port to export if famagusta is returned. Now you are going to say they already export and trade but i mean legitimate trade to and from the EU.The Roc may not have military power to upset the balance but they do have politcal as the t/c cannot trade and Turkeys ASCESION IS SLOWLY GRINDING TO A HALT.You may say Turkey dosent care about her ascesion anymore but only time will tell.
At the end of the day it would be nice to actually see some goodwill gestures from both communites to try to salvage the process but as Turkeys who wants and thinks she is the regional superpower it would be nice to see her actually extend a olive branch to the other side and not just in the cypriot issue but in the aegean and the armenian issues as well.Under Mr.Davotatglou vaunted Zero problems with our neighbors policy.Or will this prove just turkish grandsatnding as VP so ELOQUENTLY SHOWED US WITH HIS COMMENTS CONCERNING Famagusta.
