I would rather give up 20 or 22% of Cyprus and save the rest than continue on the current path which leads either to us being forced to accept an Annan-plan solution...

GR - read the rest of the sentence too.. as for the first part: I personally would never be forced to do so, however, in the very realistic scenario where Erdogan, post-Turkish elections, accepts the solution Christofias has proposed and he, AKEL and DYSI fanatically promote this "agreed" solution, whilst the US, UK et all come up with a clear threat against us in case of a second No, then it will be touch & go..

If Cyprus doesn't allow that, and Turkey doesn't want that, how is that going to come about?

“extreme autonomy” means independence! They can tease you till the cows come home but it’s not going to happen.
