You're using the wrong metaphor. You should be asking "what happens to the perpetrator of an armed robbery?" The answer is: the criminal is arrested, tried and has to return all the property he has stolen. He certainly doesn't get to keep the proceeds of his theft.

The only demand G/Cs have made is that Turkey withdraw its troops and settlers from Cyprus in accordance with UN resolutions and to allow for the full restoration of the territorial integrity of the island. If you don't think this is in the interests of T/Cs as well then you truly are on the road to oblivion.

You mean T/Cs are willing to give up their handouts from Turkey and live in a free Cyprus as EU citizens protected by EU law? What proof do you have of this?
