It's a never ending mud slinging political misery steeped in corruption.
All we can do is take in some valuable lessons on how NOT to run a country.
surely, that's the politicians, not the people. the people aren't corrupt. the people are greeks, like the vast majority of cypriots.
I have the highest respect for Diaspora Greeks. The highest.
They are the definition of success.
Too bad many Greeks have to bear the failure of their leaders.
Now ZoC dear friend, are you suggesting that we ALSO bear the failure of THEIR incompetent leaders?
i am a foreigner so i don't really count. but i wish to show solidarity with the vast majority of cypriots - who i'm told believe cyprus is greek.
therefore cypriots should show some balls, and join up with the cretans and rhodeans, to fight for a better greece, challenging the corruption, failure and incompetence of greece's leaders.
greece needs u cyprus! don't let her down in her hour of need. don't let the imperialists win!
And how the hell do you propose we do that? We can't vote in their elections, we don't pay their government taxes, we can't sign any petition seeing that we're not Greek citizens, we cannot influence their political systems in any way unless we boycott.....
I see were you're going with the irony though.
