I do not fully understand the 'legal' complexities of the situation K'5 residents /owners find themselves in and can not comment on this area.

However, the apparent injustice, obvious stress, sense of unfairness, and anxiety it must be causing so many people can not be denied; many have expressed this here and on other platforms.

Unfairness OMG .

All too often we simplify rights in to a handful of words, like ... "We have Freedom of Speech in the "ntrc", but in the real world things ain't quite so simple...

This is Article 10 as per the numbering system of the ECHR of the UDHR...

(The ECHR site refers)

Article 10

Freedom of Expression

1. Everyone has the right to freedom of expression. This right shall include freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart information and ideas without interference by public authority and regardless of frontiers. This Article shall not prevent States from requiring the licensing of broadcasting, television or cinema enterprises.

(Which is all very nice, but the ECHR then goes on to define some limits...)

2. The exercise of these freedoms, since it carries with it duties and responsibilities, may be subject to such formalities, conditions, restrictions or penalties as are prescribed by law and are necessary in a democratic society, in the interests of national security, territorial integrity or public safety, for the prevention of disorder or crime, for the protection of health or morals, for the protection of the reputation or rights of others, for preventing the disclosure of information received in confidence, or for maintaining the authority and im- partiality of the judiciary.

So the bottom line is that if you shite on the human rights of others, if you invest your life savings in a shite-hole, if you love living in a shite-hole and you just "looooooove the trnc" then you must also love its shite, make them up as we go along "laws".
