Are the "missing persons" a GC hoax?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Fi you know that the issue of 1619 missing persons due to the Turkish invasion is largely a hoax set up up by the GC authorities to promote propaganda against the Turks.

Next time before you decide to post such nonsense, i suggest you try doing some homework.

Othellos, Your post does not make any more sense than Bozkurt69's. If I prepare a website today telling you guys that Kyrenia was mostly populated by Turkish before 1974, would you believe that? :D

The web site that I provided you with, is loaded with information on the missing persons, including their names, photo's, other personal data, testimonies, UN resolutions etc. Many of them disappeared after they were captured by the turks. And anyone with even minimal knowledge on Cyprus, knows well that the missing persons issue is (unfortunately) more than real, but of course you and a few others prefer to provoke by trying to make a mockery out of the whole thing. Hence the stupid "happy smile" at the end of your above post.

I think the missing people were pretty much politicised by the RoC government as a propaganda means, since there are not much Greek Cypriot massgraves to show the world. However, I do not believe that these people are still kept in the Turkish prisons. This would have known by the EU and other human rights organisations. There are almost no pressure on Turkey for this matter. Yet claiming that there had been no missing people at all is an injustice and something inhumane, since BOTH sides have missing people. Just like my friend's father had one day got out of his house and had never come back. These people had died in the war and burried in some where. There are many testimonials by Greek Cypriots who had actually burried these people without keeping records of the names of the bodies.
