There is a reason you keep going around in circles. That is because you only think in terms of what you would lose from a solution. What you don't understand is that T/Cs are already losers in the current situation. That is why 50,000 T/Cs protested earlier this month.

Your problem VP is that you think you are a winner from the current debacle in the north. When you are nothing of the sort. Once you start to understand that you too are a loser then you might understand how a solution might work in your favour.

They protested about a cut in their wages, so dont get you hopes up I didnt see one banner saying lets capitulate to Gc demands.

You've done it again. Do you see what I mean? You see a solution in terms of capitulation. That's only because you feel you have something to lose. Of course what I am trying to explain to you is that you are already losers. You don't even accept the fact that the organisers of the recent T/C protests explicitly say that they were making a political protest about the status and survival of the T/Cs. So you see where your problem lies? Once you realise that in objective terms the T/Cs are losers in the current situation then you might see a way forward to them having something rather than nothing.

What you refuse to see is that it was more a protest against the economic cuts, people will always protest if you threaten their standard of living its only natural. They protested and now its over you are reading what you want into it, where are they now? no one is protesting to unite with GCs as what you are offering is definitely not what the Tcs want. If this is losing as you put it then weighted against minority rights in a GC state then we can be the losers, having use of 37% of the island is imo having something. Everything changed in 1974 and will never ever be the same again we have lived apart for to long to go back to how is was, you have to understand that you have to share equally with TCs if you want us even to consider uniting.

VP THEY ALSO protested within the economic cuts the importation of settlers from turkey, the change in demographics, the appointment of a turkish buracrat as ambassador/govenor of the north.overall they protested against the turkish republics handling of the turkish cypriots.Yes they may not be protesting to join the ROC but they also protested for a solution that will benefit the t/c community(whats left of them)

Where are they now? you are reading to much into it, dont forget the TCs said yes to a solution that the GCs will never accept that how wide the chasm is.

were is who know?

concerning voting yes to a losided plan that was not evenendorsed by the security counsil the t/c especailly under talat should have made adjustements to the plan that would have gotten a yes vote from the g/c and would have allowed the t/c to come in from the cold instead of running around yelling that we voted yes.

Where are all these protesters? We could not force you to negotiate in good faith you missed that boat due to your eoka stained leader. You could have gotten the TA army to leave and the whole of Maras back but no you rejected the only plan that they will ever ask you to vote on.
