DTA, which points raised in the discussion do you disagree with? I am looking forward to hear what you have to say.

Aside from the Cyprus crimes, this is what they have in mind:

Cyprus's future security could benefit from a EU with Turkey as a full member , its no wonder that both Greece and Cyprus support her efforts , Turkey's , albeit with the right conditions such as recognizing the RoC , the only nation on earth that does not , and removing the occupying Turkish army from Cyprus.
Contrary to what members on this forum stated , Turkey NEEDS Europe much more than the need to continue occupying a part of it.
Turkey has a role to play in the EU and part of that role is to recognize that her enforced military presence is not wanted . The ME will erupt some times soon , all we have thus seen is the tip of the ice burg. The West needs Turkey , Europe needs Turkeys involvelment in the ME future developments if the region is to have some sort of peace.
I'm of the opinion that the ME will erupt sooner rather than later with Saudi Arabia becoming another nation embroiled in rebellion.
Having said this I also feel that developments in the ME will will have beneficial economoc repercussions for Cyprus.

Interesting discussion. I think this is the voice that Cyprus needs in order to overcome the Turkish occupation and the violation of human rights.I think the TC's need to have a referendum to decide if they want a life time of non recognition or unification with EU access.
