Last week there have been significant developments in favor of Hellenism from the operations of the Nationalist MEPs of BNP.

The chairman of the British National Party MP Nick Griffin signed the Declaration of the Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus (CMP).
The Commission is under the auspices of the European Parliament and set up to determine the fate of missing persons of the Turkish invasion.

Nick Griffin said: "I am pleased that I signed because it will help to determine the fate of missing persons who were murdered by the Turks because of the invasion of the island in 1974 . Also this way we show our sensitivity to the issue of Islamization of Europe "

The other BNP MEP Andrew Brawn in a speech to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, condemned the continued occupation of Cyprus by the Turks.

"Turkey continues with the force of arms to hold the northern part of Cyprus. Exploit the properties of the Greeks, destroying churches and cemeteries. If Turkey does not withdraw its troops, if not repair the damage caused, if not give the real owners of their property then there will be no link with that State, nor of course should discuss the integration in Europe "
