Yess!!
Got caught up in the excitement of making the list (any list for that matter)
And one vote from somebody anonymous... Thanks a lot! lol

I believe the above vote displays the inherent fear of tCypriots. They fear that gCypriots will abuse their democratic rights to suppress them. Just like Turks do against the Kurds since 1923. A legitimate fear.

However, neither 1960 with its super rights for the minority nor the division of 1974 can be accepted as part of the solution.

Makarios 1963 ideas are a good basis to discuss. We keep a unitary state and we work on finding the solutions to making sure that the minority is not suffocated by the overwhelming majority, a majority however whose will on ethnic neutral matters (e.g. economy, budgets, EU, etc.) cannot be placed at the mercy of a small, bruised and immature [politically, and I think this is more than fair to say] minority. Yes to veto, but only for a limited number of issues to be agreed jointly.

You never debated them. Perhaps it is time. Perhpas your only solution out of the labyrinth you find yourselves in:
http://antifon.blogspot.com/2010/12/pre ... osals.html

What a load of tosh. How many TCs do you know for a fact that voted on the above poll?

I made the assumption that mostly gCypriots voted whose favorites were tCypriots! A fair assumption?

Forgive me but both your statements are ambiguous.

Without going into too much grammar, who fears who? GCs or TCs. In your arguments this is not clear. I will not correct you as this is YOUR argument.

I say tCs [tCypriots] fear gCs [gCypriots].

My logic is this:
1. gCypriots are more here at CF (as in Cyprus)
2. gCypriots feel tCypriots deserve the bigot/fascist title more
3. they use their numbers (democracy) to vote for tCypriots
4. the fear of tCypriots is that gCypriots would similarly abuse democracy to vote for unfavorable to tCypriots decisions in a united Cyprus

My post makes sense now?

You are sick.

Thus ends an almost friendly discussion. What a waste of time. You must be the only one to arrive at such a conclusion. I have NIL PUAN.

Read again.

In the spirit of the preceding exchange and in light of the SPECIFIC question he had just asked, my answer was unambiguous. It would not make any sense at all for me to come out and call someone a fascist just like that. Too much sensitivity and insecurity me thinks.
