The west can be very selective about who it suports and when - at one point or another both Saddam Insane and Obama Bin Laden were the busom buddies/bum chums of the US, etc. General Noriega of Panama also comes to mind....

A time comes when we have to suspend our belief that the West ONLY acts in her own interest...Gaddafi controled oil is no dobut on the minds of the leaders of the so-called Free world,but they were getting that oil via normal channels anyway...I'd like to believe that after talking about 'freedom and democracy' ad infinitum some of it might've rub off on the Western leaders...Imagine what would happen to those hundreds of thousands of people who revolted against Gaddafi IF he is allowed to stay in power and regain control over all Libya...for me that is unthinkable!

In the case of Gaddaffi it’s not the oil because Libya only produces about 2% of the world’s total, and it’s not the fact that he’s a despot because he’s been tolerated as such for over four decades, and it’s not the fact that he’s an idiot because many other leaders are idiots anyway, but the real problem is his… dresses!

I JUST CAN’T STAND HIS ATTIRE!

He looks ridiculous and I’m sure many others out there feel the same!

NATO should issue an ultimatum… either change your bloody wardrobe or face the consequences!
