Protests Spread To Syria

Postby bill cobbett » Sun Mar 20, 2011 4:02 am

Four protesters were killed by Scumbag Security Services in Syria on Friday.

Teargas used against thousands who turned up for the funerals.

Unchanging one-party rule (for past 50 years) up against aspirations for democratic reforms.

(Just how far is it from Syria to Kurdistan??)

Let the Syrians Deal with their OWN problem , an intervention by the West will achieve nothing
as indeed the current intervention in Libya . The Arabs have to deal with their own internal problems it seems to me that they are however incabable , screaming Allah o Ahbar is indicative of their utter failure to join the 21st century as free people , they are slaves to their dictators , their culture and their religion , people who are not the least interested in democracy as it exists in the West .
I can see the West making a very big mistake in intervening militarily in Libya .
