CYPRUS OIL, DENKTASH WANTS TURKISH NAVY INTERVENTION

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

If a turkish or turkish cypriot person came on here and started spouting the reverse about GCs I would pull them up on it as well... unfortunately I just dont see that from the majority of GCs on here.

You have lost to much and so have we, if there is to be a united cyprus then we need to move beyond this take in all the realities of today and come to a solution that is acceptable to both parties, then we can work on becoming just one party.

Hear, hear! Thanks to Bananiot, DTA and neversaynever for restoring my faith in humanity even while we are surrounded by those who seem to be creaming themselves over things which are efficiently designed to kill our fellow man. If only engineers' knowledge, skills and enthusiasm were put to more humanitarian causes...

Hey Kiks.

Yeah, them beauties in Top Gun are F-14 Tomcats.
Great movie... it was a groundbreaking film making effort. Zero computer effects, all the stunts and plane footage was real in the air and on the aircraft carrier.
It was filmed in accordance to standard navy protocol in real time scenario. They had to go through hell for filming permission from the navy to film on site and obtain proper pilots to do proper stunts, barrel rolls etc.

The rest, Hollywood fairytale.

Went to the "Sleazy Bar" from the movie few times in San Diego when ever I was there, which were a lot of times, as San Diego is one of my favourite cities, right behind San Francisco, but it was not the same for me there as it was for Tom Cruise.

I'm shocked that Denktash's "right hand man" VP did not tell Denktash that the RoC is just like another foreign country to him from the north, like France and Italy. Had he knew that, perhaps Denktash wouldn't be asking for any share of the oil and gas monie$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

As far as the International Community's action with weapons like the above in the days to come, see that Turkey isn't joining the New Coalition of The Good to protect civilians in Libya.

So we son't be seeing the Turkish Air Force making a contribution ... much to the relief of the Turkish Navy.
