Welcome to Cyprus and to the Forum: I must warn you it can get a bit rough here at times, but that is what makes posting here so much fun.
For Nursurys my two girls went to Kids at Work, in Kritis, off Ayias Phalaxios street, which at the time was very good, but I know they lost one or two staff last summer and am not sure what the position is now. Cost I think was about 300/child /month.
For schools the main English curriculum Schools are (not in any particular order) Foleys, Heritage and Red Dragon, Pascal, the Grammer School, and the American Acadamy. All are probably international in flavour in terms of Children and Staff.
I have a boy who did his GCSE and A levels at Heritage - the staff he had were generally very good but that was now three years ago and I know some have moved on.
I know they and Red Dragon have a nursury section.
My girls (they are not yet 5) are in reception at the Dragon - again very good staff. John Howells is an educationalist: it shows.Red Dragon is a new School, only 4 years old or so, but it has a grwoing reputation - the infant / Primary department is well developed but the secondary section, which is possibly only two years old, less so. They are however investing.
They have a small class size policy - 15 at most.
Heritage it is in the high 20's and even with excellent new premises Heritage is now a bit crowded. .
I know Foleys have a waiting list, (90 children for 25 places or so) and Red Dragon is getting popular
I cannot comment on the other schools in Limassol, state or private I don't know enough about them.
I do however suggest start getting round the schools now.
