mem101...I refer to island Turks and mainland Turks to differentiate between the two. I didn't think of it as being racist in the slightest as I wouldn't be offiended with island Greeks and mainland Greeks. I shall refer to you all as Turks because, as I've stated about Greeks, if it talks Turk, has Turk religion, eats Turk, sleeps Turk, cries Turk, laughs Turk it's Turk.

They're both wrong.

The T negotiator/s are wrong because rights to citizenship are civil and political rights, not human rights. The GC negotiator/s are wrong because they can't control reproduction, not even of their 'own people'.

And this forum thread is misleading because most posters (especially GC posters) have fallen for the T. negotiators confusion.

All the technical stuff has all been said, but the Turks don't want to hear it, so they start throwing insults to make themselves look harder. They must think if they shout loud enough we'll get scared and agree to all they demand!

I doubt there is anymore that can be said that hasn't already, but I am willing to listen.

Excellent post, bravo sou file. I think you have just about summed up the TCs.
If I could I would have all that in my signature as a reminder to would be readers of this forum. It should be made into a stickey and admin should frame it as a reminder.

Better still, ask Bananiotoglu who in the education department to contact to get this put into the school curriculum so our young never forget.
