..."NICOSIA, Cyprus - A Polish European parliament member says he plans to return to ethnically divided Cyprus despite his brief detention for allegedly trespassing on a restricted military area in the island's breakaway Turkish Cypriot north.
Jaroslaw Leszek Walesa told the AP on Monday that he would seek to bring more colleagues for a closer look into the island's division.
Walesa and fellow Polish EuroMP Artur Zasada were released a few hours after being detained on Saturday for entering the abandoned Greek Cypriot suburb of Varosha that is controlled by the Turkish army. The two officials had been on a tour of derelict Orthodox Christian churches in the north...."
