If it is the new church then it is about 60 meters inside the restricted area. But restricted is not the same as TRNC, Famagusta is a military area, cordoned off by the Turks and patroled by the UN, something similar to the buffer zone.

The plan specified that all the area west of the Dherinia road would be returned during the first five years after implimentation,including Kato Varosi to enable the people living there to move-by the way,not all of them areT.C's there-a lot of mainlanders have also moved in.The new boundary would be the Larnaca Famagusta road from Strovilia to the roundabout by the old town.
