sh*t happens !! shame and sad. next time your family arent here maybe leave a key to your house with a neighbour u can trust to check on it for you when you abroad. and when you are here make sure you lock the doors/exits for the house before leaving any where.. safty 1st.

Thanks for your advice/concerns but we already have friends who live there and keep a look out and there's locks on the windows, the front door is double glazed and has double locks and they still got in !! they smashed the lock off the front door which must have took some doing and made a lot of noise.....This is the reason for us starting this topic to make people aware,even if your house is secure they will still get in ! The strange thing is the locksmith who came to fix the lock was late cause he had to fix locks at the nearby police station where 2 prisoners had broken out !!
