A group of Members of the European Parliament were visiting churches in the Famagusta area today to determine their condition while the incident happened. According to Sigmalive.com, when they entered the churchyard of St Zonis church in Famagusta when ‘police officers’ showed up at the scene and arrested former MEP Yiannakis Matsis, the director of the Famagusta Refugee Movement, Loizo Afxentiou, the Polish MEP Jaroslaw Walesa (the son of former Polish leader Lech Walesa) and another Polish MEP.

Oh dear… Matsakis, lives for and thrives from these kind incidents! The “TRNC” have done him a HUGE favor and he’s gonna give them more to bite than they can chew! :lol:

The expected Matsakis agenda: :lol:

* Within 20 minutes of being detained he will declare a hunger strike!

* 15 minutes later he’ll start yelling at the top of his voice!

* Within half an hour he’ll want his lawyer, his mom, and a priest!

* In an hour he’ll demand a three-course meal and cigar!

* In 1.5 hours he’s released because they’ve had enough and he’s on the first plane to Zurich to make a scene!

Got to give it to the man though he is brave and commited enough to mount these stunts.
