I don't get it, Bananiot. :?

If ordinary TCs shared their food with Matsis, does that mean the hospital refused to give him any food to eat, therefore the ordinary TCs took it upon themselves to share their food with him.? If he was fed by the hospital, why would ordinary TCs needed to share their food with him.?

Is this what he's saying, Bananiot.?

Kiks. You have no experience of northern hospitals thats for sure.

Just like the uk. The guy sued the hospital for the food he had to bring in because he did not like it. He was awarded a couple of hundred pounds to cover the cost. Matsis was saved the trouble.

No I don't, thank God.!

Does that mean most TC patients get their food at the hospital in the north in the form of a local "take-out".!

Interesting.!

I think it is encouraged. I do not think I am wrong. Lucky patients I'd say.

Why don't you just give up? They were a delegation from a Committee of the EU Parliament on a tour of derelict Orthodox Christian churches and cemeteries in the occupied areas. They don't need "permission" to visit deserted religious monuments and cemeteries. They are everywhere in the north.

The "forbidden military zone" as you put it, is an abandoned church on the edge of a ghost town which the Turkish army insanely guard (as the CM article above aptly puts it).

Do you know how stupid you sound Birkibrisli is asking some valid questions yet you ignore them, these people broke the law and paid the price simple. What you cant accept is that you have no control over the north and we do, you have to obey our laws just as we have to obey yours if we travel south. You need a reality check the "pseudo state" you try to dismiss just slapped you right in the face...gunaydin.

If you really believe the Turkish army had no choice but to arrest these people then you truly have sunk to the same level of belligerence and stupidity that keeps Turkish troops "guarding" the abandoned town of Varosha. Now give it a rest.

But why did some get charged and other did not, is the main concern I have.

Read the article I posted Kiks. The others had diplomatic immunity and the northern authorities who are stickers to International Laws let them go free after it was established that they had immunity. Now its time for guru fasulya yahni; my favourite.
I have some on order for next month. I cant stand hospital food either.

Given Poland does NOT recognise the 'trnc' I cannot see why they accepted the 'Diplomatic Immunity' ???

Sound like it was simply a case of exercising authority, and in the process became plonkers. :)

Now you say it in those terms mate, it is Public Policy in every single one of the EU member states to abide by the UN Res ... inc the one(s) that say(s) in words something like... to do nothing to recognise the Illegal Regime.

This Diplomatic Immunity is a loada pollocks.

That's weird. I thought I answered all his "questions". Unfortunately you appear not to have noticed. So here you are again:

Q1. Who gave them this 'mission'?
A. They were a delegation from a Committee of the EU Parliament on a tour of derelict Orthodox Christian churches and cemeteries in the occupied areas.

Q2 Did they recieve permission to carry out their 'mission'?
They don't need permission to visit deserted religious monuments and cemeteries. They are everywhere in the north.

Q3. What were they doing in the 'forbidden military zone'?
See above. The "forbidden military zone" is an abandoned church on the edge of a ghost town which the Turkish army insanely and doggedly guard for no apparent reason (as the Cyprus Mail aptly describes it). In other words, it is a sham "law" created by lunatics, policed by lunatics and upheld by lunatics. Welcome to the "TRNC"...

Actually it makes perfect sense, that those who had "Diplomatic Immunity" were not charged and released, including the priest, since he too have his "Diplomatic Immunity" by the order of GOD himself.

The reasoning is, that Turkey is once again demonstrating that the "trnc" is an illegal state without any diplomatic recognition and that the TCs really have zero say so on matters concerning international matters, which will upset poor deluded VP, but those are the facts. But since the north is under the occupation of Turkey and military rule is in effect, Turkey does have International treaties with other countries regarding "Diplomatic Immunity", hence the reason why the military released and not charge those who are protected under those treaties. The RoC is not recognised by Turkey, so the GC guys got thrown into the slammer, as well as one of them given bad hospital food, which he was lucky to have had some TCs share their food with him. In the end, they got charged 200TL for visiting a old church in the north. The fine will help out the financially drained north, as in one Cypriot helping another, but if truth needs to be told, that 200TL bought a lot of bad press for the north and a lot of good press for the RoC. Turkey just washed their hands off the GCs and dealt with the rest, the people that they recognised, as well as the priest. Last thing Turkey wanted again, was more bad news on mistreating a priest after the last Christmas church praying fiasco in the north.

So, there you have it. Turkey once again reinforced that the north is not independent and that they have ZERO International recognition and that the north is under Turkey's rule and that the TCs are just "Kept & Maintained" who have no political rights in the world.
