Eroglu Outside The UN Parameters (again) On Citizenship

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Pyrpolizer » Wed Mar 16, 2011 8:43 pm

woops sorry I forgot to answer your last point.
If there is a settlement things WONT be difficult.Because they will get the oil out from the sea.
So perhaps if both sides suffer economically, like we do now, perhaps that would be enough motive to solve the Cyprob, to get the oil out and solve all our problems. Just a thought....

GR with all due respect, I wouldn't expect an academic to really know what is going on. If you were a bussinessman I would tell you go talk with your Banker, if you were someone dealing in the construction business I would tell you look around you, if you were working at the VAT office I would tell you look at your figures, and finally if you were working at the social insurance office I wouldn't tell you anything because you would know.
But... working at the University, well, the sure thing is that your salary stayed the same, no?

Pyro, yesterday I attended a DISY newcomer’s campaign speech at a meeting, and wasn’t surprised to hear that much of his arguments for change revolved around putting the blame on the AKEL government’s “failed economic policies”, but of course it’s a worldwide economy slump that could not be avoided by giants let alone a small country like Cyprus!

Btw, I'm a DIKO supporter in case you think I'm sticking up for Xtofias!

Yes GR the political parties will hung on ANYTHING that will give them votes. Regardless whether that is really due to the Government or not.
May I remind you that when the International economic crisis was booming Cyprus WAS NOT affected...Imo what happens today in Cyprus is not so much due to the International crisis (that what? delayed to come here by 3 years?), as much as it is due to local deflation after an abnormal economic boom.

Hi Pyro,

Nice to have you drop by.

This is what I wrote back in September, 2008

Kikapu wrote:I have already stated a while back on "Calling Dinos" thread, that the economy has become the "Perfect Storm" for disaster, and if you think this is just effecting the USA only, you have another thing coming Zan. The 700 Billion bail out or not, we are in for a big ride, all across the globe. The American consumers has been blind and stupid to have taken on more than they could chew with these debts that they have accrued, but Financial institutions around the world have also been blinded by their GREED on allowing these stupid consumers to get what they asked for, even if they could not afford it. We will all pay the price now, including you Zan.

Our strength lies not in our physical size but in our insurmountable resilience to the nastiness of the physically large!
