SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE SAYS NO CORRECT TO DISCUSS FIGURES ON ISSUE OF CITIZENSHIP
Another statement regarding discussions on the issue of citizenship at last wednesday leaders meeting came from the TRNC President’s Special Representative Kudret Özersay. Commenting on the issue, Özersay said that it would not be right to focus on specific figures and numbers when discussing the issue of citizenship which falls under the chapter on Governance and Power Sharing.
He said that the two sides had exchanged views and ideas yesterday on who would be eligible for citizenship once a settlement was reached.
