Deniz : I continue to believe in equal rights for all Cyptiots regardless of their religious and linguistic background. However, when it comes to their current situation a humanist does not say ok I support you because thats the right thing to do or at least the expected thing to do by a humanist. I look at the situation. I see that most TC's on here and their leader are pushing for partition of Cyprus .... That is an action I will never support and that goes any empathy toward the breakaway TC community. TC's today in Cyprus have more rights than their GC counterparts.

So why wasn't he on the streets protesting along with the average T/C? If this protest was not directed against Turkish policies in the occupied area why not join the march? Why stay at home along with all the settlers?

Secondly, VP approves of Turkey's austerity measures and believes it is a good idea for Turkey to stop the hand out, therefore, that being the case, VP couldn't be "representing" the average TCs, since 50,000 of them were on the streets fighting the austerity measures that VP approves what Turkey is doing. I'm almost certain VP was not amongst the 50,000 TCs on the street fighting against these austerity measures.

I would say that, if VP were to "present" anyone, it is the settlers/Turkey, as well as those TCs who are NeoPartitionist, who are enjoying the "spoils of war". Regardless of the above options, VP is not an elected individual, therefore, he can ONLY represents his/her own self and no one else. His/her views are just that, his/hers ONLY.!

Who has committed war crimes with the importation of illegal settlers, Who has changed the names of villages, dececrated holy places, stole and sold on the black market artefacts of our culture, who sells off GC land to the cheapskates and shit load more.

Sure,but most TCs are prepared to accept a BBF prepared and presented by the UN...Most GCs are not...There lies the difference...
