Cypriot Army and LGBT

Postby marcj » Tue Mar 08, 2011 8:31 pm

Hello, I am searching for some official documents to back the Wikipedia articles (eg) that state that homosexual men can't serve, and also details on how this works (sexuality tests? if outed by somebody else? discharged for what reason?).
The site of "National Guard" hadn't been very helpful but maybe it's because I don't really have great command of the language.

I hope the collective wisdom of the fora can point out to me something that I can use as a reference.

TiA,
Marc

The article is wrong, homosexuality is compulsory in the NG.

They shove new recruits in a bathtub full of water and if a steady stream of bubbles keep rising to the top from down there, homosexuality is deemed positive!

The test NEVER fails! 8)

Not really helpful, guys.
But from the attitude, I take it that Cyprus' indeed has Middle East mentality. Unfortunately, that won't work as a proper citation.
