Hello, I am searching for some official documents to back the Wikipedia articles (eg) that state that homosexual men can't serve, and also details on how this works (sexuality tests? if outed by somebody else? discharged for what reason?).
The site of "National Guard" hadn't been very helpful but maybe it's because I don't really have great command of the language.

I hope the collective wisdom of the fora can point out to me something that I can use as a reference.

No tests were undertaken and no questions about sexual orientation were asked when I was recruited.

You go, they shave your pip, you get registered, they ask if you have any medical conditions, then they conduct other medical formalities, they ask if you're a politexno or an only child, orphan, father or mother deceased etc.
they give you 2 sets of boots, uniform, underwear etc and you're on your way.
Nothing about being gay.
