Just who the bloody hell do we think we are?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Mapko I agree we can and should talk to each other with respect and with the aim of extending understanding - however your first few post did not really show any of this did it?

Ps are you really 11? (not ment as an insult - but you never know who you are talking to online)

DTA...I must admit, I got caught up in the hatred being shown by the island Turks to the Greek Cypriots. As you state, things get mis-interpreted in e-mails.

Haha, no I'm not. I'm actually 40!!!

I like how you think you are smart for avoiding to face the challenge. I sympathize as your convictions are as shallow as the "right" of either Turkey or the UK to be present in Cyprus.

The unfortunate business of it all, is that there is/was a written accord by the three guarantors - Greece, the UK and Turkey - that they will protect the country. This was open to mis-interpretation and was used by the mainland Turks to get what they wanted - any part of the island. Yes, ok, we should despise the Turks for what they did, but the biggest scum in this whole episode is the USA and, in particular, Kissinger. They, like the British, wnated bases on Cyprus, the Cypriots said no, so the Turk invasion was sanctioned (if anyone refutes this, how else could the USA stop the Turks invading on numerous occasions previously?). The USA also stopped Greece helping the Cypriots and also threatened to blow ships carrying aid and arms out of the water!! How can they do that? This is why I love when the USA gets its arse kicked in wars. They, like Turkey, are bullies. The USA will fight this small country and that small country, yet let's see them enter North Korea, China or Iran!

Conclusion: Crete must be invaded and occupied at the earliest possible!

So you won't take my challenge and you try hide behind your lack of conviction by trying to flip what I said....

Ok then dude I will extend the challenge. prove that there are less than 64,000 tcs as you stated is an undeputable fact and I will take up your little challenge but as I called you spefically out first, the onus is on you (first).

And let's vet our future on the forum just to make it interesting.

You are so pathetic DTA. LOL!

Keep avoiding the challenge. What are you doing? Gathering data?

Let's say that a non-Greek, non-gCypriot MEP [member of the European Parliament] raised the comparison between the two minority rights' issues, as Turkey is involved in both, would you say that the approach has merit then?

Or, let's say a Kurdish intellectual adopted the same approach and demanded of his countrymen of Turkish origin to apply their Cyprus logic in Turkey, to make Kurdish an official language without any delay & subsequently to discuss power sharing with Kurds on an equality basis, as they understand equality in Cyprus.

Well? Feeling gutsy?
