Hmm... reminds me of another group who had no balls to fight for them selves to divide Cyprus! :?

Really I know that you can not be talking about the Tcs because we fought for 11 years with little help from turkey to ensure that Cyprus could not be a Greek Island -

Now Gr you did not want Cyprus to be made a greek Island did you?

You call Turkish air raids and constant supply of weapons via Kokkina "little help"?

How many times from 63- to 68 were there turkish air raids? and as for supply of weapons.... you aree having a fuck laugh the enosis wanting bitches were lapping up weapons from greece

They always came at the best possible moment… minutes before your defeat!

now answer my question: Now Gr you did not want Cyprus to be made a greek Island did you?

If the only alternative was to make it a Turkish island then I'll go with the Christian lot thanks!

Then you do understand why the TCs had to go with their Muslim cousins!
Thank you GR! For being honest...I knew there was some good in you somewhere... :)

christian philosophy (turn the other cheek/love ur enemy)

muslim/jewish philosophy (eye for an eye, tooth of a tooth).

it's a no-brainer. (and the no-brainers went for turkey).

Mala...stop your childish nonsensical posts...They make you look more and more like a simpleton.. :)

I've sat here and read every single post on this discussion and all I can see is the spiteful vitriol of people who spout their digusting racist chants and then attack others as being racist to cover up what they've just stated. Don't know what I mean? How about 'Enosis bitches', 'Let's invade Crete', etc. They think they are big and clever with a powerful nation behind them but that's all they've got - power - which was given to them by the West to keep them sweet. The Turks are bullies as can be read in the posts. You are in a lucky position in the fact you're the in-between of the normailty of the West and the ridiculous of the Arab world.

It's all 'our Turkish cousins' and they came to help us but, the fact of the matter is, the Turks in Cyprus hated the Turk mainlanders because they were the lowest of the low, sent to the island to make up the numbers. The people who lived in caves and had no education, future or hope, were removed and sent to Cyprus. I've heard many stories of Turks in coffee shops speaking Turkish and when a mainlander entered the shop, these Turks started speaking Greek! How ironic that you got yourselves into a joyous position being free of the Greek yoke only to find yourselves under the Turk mainlanders' yoke.

I agree - there is no such thing as a Greek Cypriot and a Turk Cypriot. There are Cypriots and Turks. A Cypriot is Greek Orthodox, clean and proud of his roots and heritage; a Turk is Muslim, has a bastardised heritage and would happily go from one paymaster to another if it paid more.

My family's origins are from Piyi. My Grand-dad owned a big farm there and employed Turks and, by all accounts, he treated them exceptionally and they loved him. As soon as the mainland Turks came, he and my grandma were forced into the mountains...The barbarity of the Turks was endless - when it was islander against islander, it was all tit-for-tat killings and was quite even. Then, the Turk villagers had help from the British (who were given the mandate to eradicate the Cypriot uprising), which eventually led to the mainlanders invading. Oh, the Greeks wanted to help their compatriots and what happened? The goold ole U.S. of A. intervened - because they love the underdog and don't like bullies - and we have what we have today.

So, the only reason Turks in the illegally occupied North are complaining now is because they see how prosperous the South is and want to be a part of it. The North was the jewel of Cyprus - the best beaches, the best hotels, the best businesses and the place was flourishing. Give it the Turks and it becomes a desolate area that only just about looks a little bit better than Chernobyl does.

Anyway, all this won't matter soon. 65.000 souls will easily be integrated into RoC. They will of course have the right to go live in Ankara. Ideal for most of them as they feel Turks first.

Proof that the ENOSIS mentality is still alive and well...This crush trough OR crush mentality brought untold pain and suffering to all Cypriots...You are obviously not cured of this cursed affliction...You cannot be trusted today,no more than you were yesterday...Thank you for confirming it antifon...

BirKibrisli, if that is what you understood then you are an idiot indeed!

Having said that and to make the point of Cypriots deciding democratically, then if the majority of Cypriots (not the illegal Turkeyish imports, but including all 63.500 remaining tCypriots) decided today they wanted union with Greece or Zimbabwe then so it will be.

Because Turkey thinks she has strategic interests in Cyprus she never allowed you to acknowledge the truth, neither in the 50s nor now:

The truth is YOU ARE A SMALL MINORITY & YOU WILL FOLLOW OUR DECISIONS ON CYPRUS. PERIOD.

If you want to go back to your roots, be my guest; I would personally recommend Mersin rather than Ankara. Istanbul is becoming too Kurdish so best stay away for soon the road signs will be in Kurdish. I hear Kurds will insist on removing the minarets at Hagia Sofia, and restore it as the church of ecumenical Orthodoxy!

WE WILL NEVER AGAIN ALLOW YOU, AN UNGRATEFUL AND HYPOCRITICAL MINORITY THAT YOU ARE, TO HAVE A DEFINING SAY FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNTRY.

IF YOU CONTINUE TO PLAY YOUR CARDS WRONG, YOU MAY NOT HAVE ANY SAY AT ALL.

GET OUT OF LAPITHOS, KERYNEIA, KARPASIA AND AMMOCHOSTOS. GO BACK TO YOUR ROOTS IN ANKARA IF YOU LIKE. OR LEARN GREEK AGAIN AND JOIN US [BETTER CHOICE OF ROOTS IF YOU ASK ME].

Look at this joker, only a little while ago he came to this forum pretending to be all about debate. Having found an amazing (and totally new and unique ) way to highlight the 'hypocracy' of the turkish cypriots... this little genious will relate it to issues around Turkish /Kurdish relations - wow what intellect

at this point - Kudos to GR because you had him sussed from one of his earlier posts, where I although dubious gave him the benifit of the doubt.

At fist he tried to debate with both GC and TCs, but his lack of knowledge about cyprus issues became more and more apparent and he was made to look more stupid (perhaps without even knowing it) ..... But he has his wild card the Kurdish Turkish relation - which he knows so little about it is quite shameful for someone who is even pretending to care for the issue of the Kurds.

So beaten, and defeated and frankly well out of his division in this forum and to be frank in the realms of grown up debate he lets his to true face be seen in the above post and many more like it... all of which he has posted recently all of which resemble the rantings of a petulant child.

Post like the above do anger me because they are so intrenched in ignorance and a thinly veiled hatred that I would like to respond in kind, but in doing so I may alienate the good GCs of this forum whom I would not wish to offend and although I do not agree with all their views I can see their perspectives and appreciate their honesty

Wow what a first post - firstly invade crete was a joke (or maybe a plan) - that me and GR (a GC by the way) have for when cyprus is united we will will make crete the second island of the Republic

secondly you are clueless about the TRNC

becomes a desolate area that only just about looks a little bit better than Chernobyl does.

this proved without a doubt that you have never been or no nothing of the TRNC

And clueless about the Tcs in general, your post is full of 1960s fascism and it is clear that you are a racist and a bigot... unfortunately you may fit in here

BirKibrisli...Did you even bother to read what I posted, or did you quickly jump to the 'He's Greek Cypriot, therefore stupid and therefore racist'? As a nation, I despise Turkey and despise its people BUT I don't know any personally - that doesn't make me a racist. A bit like Jews despising Nazis but not knowing any personally. It's just one of those things. I'm sure there are some good Turk people, but I'll never find out. In Cyprus, there are two sets of peoples - nobody has to get on with the other, nobody has to live with the other and nobody has to like the other. Why should people, just because they live in the same place like each other? How many times do you go on a bus, or a plane, or go to a restaurant, or go to the cinema, or whatever and speak to the person next to you just because they are another human being doing the same thing as you at exactly that same moment? You don't. Nobody does because everyone has their own life, their own agenda and their own business.

It is people like YOU, BirKibrisli, who are the racists and why Cyprus was split in the first place and why Cyprus will never be one. YOU, BirKibrisli, are the racist, nasty, hate-filling Turk who has found the grass is not greener and now you are reaping what you've sown.

It's funny how I've come on here and YOU, BirKibrisli, have been the one to start the name-calling. What a pathetic life you must lead.
