Just who the bloody hell do we think we are?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

No is a good answer.

It's mine too to your 1960 out-of-this-world rights and 1974 division. And it ain't changing no matter how much you squeal.

MAXIMALIST are, and have always been, the Turkish/tCypriot positions in Cyprus.

This did not happen, even though the Cypriots fought bravely and well. This is part of the reason why the EOKA came to be (you do know the EOKA was created to fight the British tyranny and not the Turks?). You also know it was the British who coined the terms 'Greek Cypriot' and 'Turk Cypriot' - not the Greeks? Therefore, Cyprus as a whole had the right to self-determination but it was a case of divide and conquer. Perhaps your quarrel should be with the British and not the Greeks.

Well said Mapko.

Speaking for myself, I am thick!

Care to elaborate on the contradictions? We feel strongly that as our partner, with veto rights, you should approve what we say before we publish it.

Can I go to the toilet now?

DTA...What are the contradictions? At the time, Cyprus was a whole country and Cypriots were classed as one population. The British changed all that - along with the Americans and the Turks. The British divided the coutry's population and tagged them.

The GCs treated the TCs as second class citizens threw them out of government, did not listen to their own supreme court judgement and forced TCs into enclaves.

quattro...I meant tagged them with the distinction of being a Greek Cypriot, or the failure of being Turks.
