Just who the bloody hell do we think we are?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I am Cypriot by descent, British by birth, scientist by nature and academic background. Which part of that reads "Turkish propogandist?"

Antifon you just got arse handed to you again, its becoming a habit with you.

What did boombers say about flicking the zip... now that was funny.

DTA, are you a child or something? Is big daddy from London "fighting" the fights you can't. Or Barcelona just scored?

I have proved comprehensively that you not only very little about Turkish Kurdish relations a subject that refer constantly to, but also that your knowledge of the cyprus problem is also lacking in several areas. Now I am just having some fun.

I simply hope you have the sense to foresee what's coming your way. And I won't have, either personally or as community, anything to do with it.

A BBF or the status quo, that is all that is coming our way if you cant see this then I have given you too much credit - and I have not given you much.

As far as asking me for help, well yes, but on my terms for our common good. Cause you don't know really what's good for you. And never again will we allow a hypocritical, ungrateful, weak, compass less minority, at the mercy of FASCISTIC TURKEY, have any say in defining the future of our country.

who asked for your help? certainly not me. please point this out.

YOU ARE A MINORITY, a very small one, AND BEST LEARN TO LIVE WITH THAT FACT. Else, I know of an academic/ scientist in London who will be more than happy to accommodate you in London.

I already have property in london thanks.

Last, let me thank you for electing Eroglu. I know you did it with a lot of help from your masters. He is the best that you have done for our country ever.

Again you show your lack of knowledge, Turkey openly supported Talat, in fact there was a campaign poster saying that a vote for Talat makes me feel closer to Turkey (or words to that affect).

In fact there is evidence if you care to look that Eroglu has been repeatedly reined in by Turkey - again I suggest you stop writing and talking so much and do some more reading and learning, before you once again prove yourself to be ....

As a footnote, there are people on this forum that profess views even worse than yours but the thing that gets me about you, is that when you came to this forum you pretended to be about debate and dialogue. But now you just repeatedly spout racist shit and have shown your true face... and I hate two faced people.

Just having fun!

.

Yeah just having some fun with you, the Cyprus issue is a serious problem that has affected both our communities and one that we both shoulder some blame for.

But you are not a serious person that is why I am just having some fun with YOU.

How old are you by the way?

I'm 33. Your age does explain somethings (and that is not to be pAtronising) read up a little bit about the Cyprus problem from sources other than roc of Greek sites. When first researching the Cyprus problem (I was doing this for a project) I not only read sites books etc that were from a gc perspective and also learnt a lot by asking questions on here which I followed up with independent research (as much as that is possible with the cy problem).

When you do this you will see that things are not as clear cut as you now think, both communities and outside nations have had a huge hand in the situation that we have today-

Just accept one fact:

You are a minority community of Cyprus & we will never again allow you to have a defining say in what the future of this country should be. You have created enough suffering already.

Embrace you minority reality and all will turn out much better for you.

The fun goes both ways I guess.

DTA, you will never reason with me because your starting position is unreasonable. It has 1960 "equality" all over it, as well as 1974 division.

As I have said manifold and won't get tired repeating:
WE WILL NEVER AGAIN ALLOW YOU, A SMALL MINORITY, DEFINE OUR FUTURE. YOU HAVE SCREWED UP ENOUGH.

Rethink things and perhaps we will be there for you. Else, start packing for I think you will be headed either to London soon [if pride gets the best of you] or the RoC as just another citizen, like we all are.

Like I said I already have property in London and my family have a lot of property in the roc. You are not offering me anything and therefore and forever the answer to you will be no. I am willing to accept my community's part in this mess and willing to compromise you are just after maximalist results which lead to minamalist gains.

Instead of trying to teach others better go get some education yourself because you have no clue what you are talking about.

Self-determination is not a human right. Self-determination is a right for nations. Not an individual human right, and not a minority right.

The fascists are those who invade and oppress us in order to stop us from having our freedom and self-determination in our island.

The way I use 'self-determination' it is a human right...It is the right of every individual to define who and what they are themselves...That determins them, hence it is self-determination...

But coming to your arguments..If self-determination in a political sense is the right of nations, then you didn't have the right to self-determination back in the 50s...You were not a nation, you were a community...The GC community of Cyprus...If you had that right then so did the TCs...Fair enough???

BirKibrisli...The Cypriots were given promises by the British, in WWII, that if they fought on the allied side then, after the war, they would be given self-determination. This did not happen, even though the Cypriots fought bravely and well. This is part of the reason why the EOKA came to be (you do know the EOKA was created to fight the British tyranny and not the Turks?). You also know it was the British who coined the terms 'Greek Cypriot' and 'Turk Cypriot' - not the Greeks? Therefore, Cyprus as a whole had the right to self-determination but it was a case of divide and conquer. Perhaps your quarrel should be with the British and not the Greeks.
