Just who the bloody hell do we think we are?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

In 1960 we, tCypriots, were awarded 67% more guaranteed representation in public positions than our 18% community numbers

[[30-18] /18] = 67%

Just who the bloody hell do we think we are?

I agree with Bill...The game is over...The TCs had no choice but to turn to Turkey for help in 1963,and the help came somewhat belatedly in 1974...
Since then the bloodyminded GC intransigence (isolations and embargoes)meant total dependence on Turkey by the TCs...

It is neither here nor there now what Turkey's motives were in coming to Cyprus...The GCs gave her the perfect excuse and coming she did...And she stayed and she brought many more of our cousins to join us,and show us what good Turks should be like...
We learnt our lessons and now we are part of the greater Turkish nation...
What you are hearing in the trnc are the final death trobs of a once proud and unique community...After these cries fall on deaf ears, and inevitably they will, everybody will see, what I see now, that all the TCs have now become Cyprus Turks...You will have to deal with 600,000 of us,at the last count, and if you insist on a unitary state with majority rule I am sure Turkey will oblige you within 25 years, when there will be 2 million Cyprus Turks ready to assume majority rule...Congratulations,your victory is complete...

I am having a bit of hard time categorizing your argument: 'sad' or 'pathetic' or perhaps both?
I also wonder whether I should be happy that this is your "reality".

Never forget: Turkey's Cyprus logic will DEFINE the solution for Turkey's Kurds! The Kurds will accept nothing less.

In 1960 we, tCypriots, were awarded 122% more guaranteed representation in security positions than our 18% community numbers.

[[40-18] /18] = 122%

Just who the hell do we think we are? WHO THE BLOODY HELL?

Ps. For the 25% Kurds of Turkey it would mean that they must have guaranteed 56% of all positions in the Turkish Republic. :!:

You wish...you delude yourself...you disappoint me...
Cyprus logic has nothing to do with the Kurds...In Cyprus the two communities have been living apart for the past 37 years...They don't trust teach other and want to live separately in their own different states...The Kurds live all over Turkey, are totally integrated into Turkish society, and only a tiny minority (about 5%) want a separate state...Like chalk and cheese really...

The only reason they have been living apart is a policy of self-segregation by tCypriot leaders, as attested by the UN [ http://antifon.blogspot.com/2010/12/was ... nal-t.html ] & the result of an uncalled for illegal invasion and occupation by RoT against RoC.

Read here [Hürriyet Daily News] what Ergenekon did so that Cypriots would not trust each other:
http://antifon.blogspot.com/2011/03/why ... es-in.html

5% of Kurds may want secession but 90% of Kurds want community recognition, as per Turkeyish logic in Cyprus, and autonomy. I will send you numerous links if you need them.

Kurds DO NOT TRUST Turks. In fact, they HATE them!! Hundreds of links to provide you with.

The Turkish state has killed 50.000 Kurds in the last 30 years alone, and I do not even include Dersim and other post-Dersim incidents. I'll have you know that 63-64 in Cyprus pales in comparison with this single Turkish massacre alone against the Kurds. Brotherly love I suppose? Or is it Islamic love?

Just who the bloody hell do you think you are to think that you deserve 1960's super rights against the 82% gCypriot majority?

Who the hell do you you are to steal our homes and towns and make them your own?

Just who the hell do you think you are to think that Keryneia, Lapithos or Morphou will ever be anything by gCypriot dominated towns?

I took you for a sensible, intelligent person...You are just another head-in-the -sand GC state propaganda victim with hate and bitterness in your belly...Good luck with your wait for the Kurdish card or the Islamic card to fall in place...And I will tell you who we are...We are the brave minority who told you 'NO PASARAN" when you wanted to give Cyprus away to Greece...We are the ones you owe the ROC,independence, and your Cypriot identity...Now on your knees and beg for forgiveness for your sins against my people...You can whitewash your history with most people, but not with someone who lived through those years in Cyprus..
Repent...apologise...show remorse...empathy...compassion...Show me you are human, not another GC nationalist bigot...
