Just who the bloody hell do we think we are?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Get the ball away from the Partitionist Speaks For The Settlers and Turkey Errorgluey friends and who knows this thing could be over by the end of the year.

Bill Cobbett, time to stop talking of two zones. Zones are the result of an illegal invasion and occupation. Just as "equality" is the result of an imbalance of power in 1960. Time we all realize that we are being logical and doing the well meaning Cypriots a favor as well if we press for a solution on a 1960/1963 basis the soonest possible. The majority tCypriots, the true Cypriots, are ready to make an honorable compromise. We should be ready to heed their cry for help. On the right basis for our children's sake!

Waste of time telling me mate... convince Pres X to make a direct appeal to the CYs Suffering and Generally Being Shafted By The Turkish Occupation ... he's the CY Pres... Pres of all CYs ... it's his job to speak for all CYs.
.
... all it might take is a small statement... a little speech.

Did not mean to be preachy! It's a bad habit I have to sound like that.

I think the time is fast approaching for our President to do it. As soon as he feels he has the majority tCypriot will behind him.

Its a BBF with political equality or nothing.

Sorry to disappoint you.

No solution means realistically three things:

- a Cyprus Republic, member of the UN & the EU, with 1/3 of its territory illegally occupied;

- a status-quo that would lead our Turkish friends to think erroneously, in the Ergenekon manner they are accustomed to adopt, that it will lead to the pseudo-state's recognition, which ofcourse is 100% wishful thinking if viewed through an objective lens; Cyprus would continue to be a permanent thorn in Turkey's side until she decides or is forced to remove herself from Cyprus

- a UN which cannot but recognize that in Cyprus there is only one legal entity & Turkey is in violation of numerous of UN's own resolutions;

You carry on being preachy mate.

Surely it's only a matter of time (a few weeks) before he does make such a direct appeal.... let's see if he can show the courage to be a real leader of all CYs.

Santa has been around for a long time too. I'll get you his address at the North Pole so that you can exchange some ideas about "reality". Perhaps you can even get to visit him if he lends you Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer!

"
In 1960 we, tCypriots, were awarded 67% more guaranteed representation in public positions than our 18% community numbers

[(30-18)/18] = 67%

Just who the bloody hell do we think we are?
