Do you believe Cyprus will unify any time soon?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

They're bluffing of course in the hope that they'll get a better deal!

You should ask yourself… how can such a small territory, on an island next door to the mainland be more useful/valuable than all that the EU has to offer?

Thats a bond you will never understand.

Yeah, we saw that "bond" crumble the other day.... for Turkey it’s a bond too expensive and for the TCs it’s a bond too tight!

Hermes
The international embargos are a direct result of the illegal invasion and occupation of Cyprus. Blaming the victims of the occupation for "provoking" the invasion is like blaming a rape victim for "provoking" her rapist. It is obscene, but not surprising coming from a Turk

Do you know how stupid you sound, the intervention did not just happen the enosis dream fuelled the coup in 1974 and 11 years of suffering of TCs the result is what we have today. The rape victim was the TCs not the GCs they were the rapist for 11 years provoking and taunting Turkey that they cannot do anything its when Turkeys kicks the shit out of the rapist you cry wolf and blame Turkey for saving the rape victim being the TCs.

The rift is between T/Cs and the illegal settlers and between T/Cs and Turkey. You must be blind if you haven't noticed it. Why do you think the protesters called it a "survival" march? Why do T/Cs feel their survival is at stake? And why are they blaming Turkey for it? The clue lies in your reply that Turkey regards the north like "any other part of Turkey". That is what the protesters are afraid of. Even you admit that the "TRNC" is a sham. How do you think that makes the majority of T/Cs feel? Think about it...

Far worse is happening in Greece we are no different if you introduce economic reforms people complain and protest we are no different. Do you see any protests on the near future everything has gone quite so this proves that you are wrong there is no rift between the TRNC and Turkey, its only wishful thinking on your part.

Where did I admit the TRNC is a sham?

Because its accession process is frozen! Turkey cannot rush into anything until it withdraws from Cyprus. Turkey cannot keep its forces in Cyprus without damaging its long-term economic, diplomatic and strategic interests. G/Cs are hoping that Turkey isn't as stupid as you think it is.

Yet again you are wrong it can rush to open its ports or remove its troops but it doesnt appear to be to concerned, thats where you over estimate your worth. The GCs are just one problem Turkey faces when trying to enter the EU, they know they will never make it so they are just going through the motions to continue to attract foreign investment. What else do you want them to say that they will never choose the EU over the TRNC.

A well-timed wedge driven in a purported “bond” and a great propaganda opportunity for the RoC!

Any idea why Viewpoint would have a statue of a penis inspired by a heroic Greek nude as an avatar?
