It’s now or never, says UN chief !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

... and bye bye Cyprus. The TC's can always move to the south and reclaim their properties and we move on to the 1960 agreements and be as we were, minus 37% of Cyprus and a 250 km border with Turkey (which of course will be defended by Gutso Real and we need not to worry about this).

Just look at the financial agreements Russia and Turkey have signed only recently and think about the money crazy Chinese and the dollars they hope to make from Turkey. But, do we agree that we should climb down from the moral high grounds and be a little bit more practical?

oh let me get this right...you were part of all these negotiations?...care to give us an insught?...

russia will never agree to this for the simple reason right or wrong is occopying georgia, and stills uses the roc as it's eu proxy...

china, think of tibet, think of taiwan...further more china would like to have take all world manufacturing in it's own backyard, no room for turkey i am afraid..it sees turkey as an obstacle...

all these far outweigh any deals with a country that still owes money to the imf...

but i suppose you thought of all these reasons hey banananiot?....

ban should do well ordering troops into real hotspots, namely lybia...but he can't even fart without the 5 members saying so...

just don't come here crying when you discover has no power...

you are dreaming the tcs will get minority rights...and they will be happy about it...one man one vote....you do not like stay in the north...there will be a referandum in the south if that happens and guess what majority rules...

cyprus was lost the day turkey set foot...only a dreamer would have thought otherwise...

We would become the "main dish" if we accepted something like Annan plan, which not only would officially partition Cyprus but would also give Turkey the power to control the whole island thought her puppets.

We are not stupid to give to the Turks control of the whole Cyprus. If/when we manage to liberate the 1/3rd of Cyprus which is occupied, great. Until then, better 2/3rds of Cyprus free and democratic, rather than the whole of Cyprus under Turkish control.

Explain yourself a bit more Boomerang. Because of Georgia and Tibet, Russia and China would prefer Turkey to stay in Cyprus, is this what you are saying? Are you saying that the status quo in Cyprus is what Russia and China want?

Halil, you might be the meze for Turkey but we are not much of a main dish.

And unfortunately some people like Bananiot fail to understand that by dissolving democracy and giving powers over the whole island to the Turkish puppets (Eroglu, Talat, Danktash etc), what we are doing is making the whole Cyprus a pseudo puppet state of Turkey, just like the "trnc" is today.

At least the TCs today get millions from Turkey to support their puppet state. After a "solution" like the one Bananiot supports, Turkey will not pay a cent, and the money to pay the Turkish settlers and the TC "civil servants", will be coming out of our pockets.

So basically Turkey would expand her control over the whole Cyprus, while at the same time solve all her problems with both the TCs and the Cyprus obstacle in her EU accession. It makes perfect sense for Turkey to want something like Annan plan.

Something like Annan plan, not only would not liberate north Cyprus, not only would dramatically reduce our control over our state, but would create far more problems than the few it could solve. If you are a GC you must be an idiot to accept such thing.
