Next Stop EU Parliament

Postby boulio » Mon Mar 07, 2011 2:40 am

Its seems the t/c unions and teachers have decided at the end of march to move the protest from Ionou square in nicosia to the EU Parliament in Brussells.

this part i took the liberty to traslate:

"He said even they try to arrange meetings with European Union officials, including committees and political groups to inform them about what is happening in Cyprus, especially in the north and to emphasize that they want a reunited federal Cyprus

Bagis Commenting on the statement that no one can separate Turkey from northern Cyprus and that those who participated in the rally expressing slogans against Turkey were a small minority, Mr. Eltzil always said that the rulers in Turkey, saw the Turkish Cypriots as a minority.

No shit, Sherlock!

But of course, everything was hunky dory when you were taking the 13th pay in order to sell out the TCs voting rights by making the settlers as "citizens of trnc". How did you think it was going to end, that the TCs were going to always remain the majority in the north by making the settlers "citizens".? No wonder we have idiots in the north for leadership. The more money the union members made of course payed by Turkey, greater percentage was taken out by their unions in the form of union fees. Still, I hope you have all learnt your lessons well and that you all start doing the right things from here on, including by going to Brussels. Perhaps you will also now consider having a settlement based on Democracy, Human Rights, International law and the EU Principles. You have seen the devastation on the TCs who are now experiencing in the north by not having the above principles, so chalk it up as lessons learnt and start moving to better and bigger things by adopting the above principles for a better future for the TCs and for all Cypriots in general.
