Climbed a 6500 metre mountain at 43 - I didn't start running half marathons till I was 45! Hadn't done much running at between 18 and 44 - execpt for the train or a bus.

Having a family (it was race between 50 and fatherhood, I was hoping the girlies would arrive on my Birthday, but fatherhood won by a few days) has slowed me down a bit.

Down to exactly 19 a day (keep a count) ... was 30-40 for years and years.

Fortunately due to old age I don't remember how many I smoke a day, but old age probably won't last long!
