I really on''t care what happens to TC's they are clear about their allegiance to Turkey therefore what we need to concentrated is alerting and reminding the UN that the have found in their resolutions that Turkey has illegally occupied Cyprus , that no State should recognise the occupied area of Cyprus and that economic sanctions are there till freedom is found on the Island.

The TCs are either irrelevant and all the decisions are taken by Turkey OR the TCs have the power to influence Turkish policy...You can't say one thing in one thread and another in another...

May I remind you that there is a general election in Turkey on 12 June 2011,and all these statements are for internal consumption...The AKP and Erdogan are desperate to increase their votes, and I wouldn't be surprised if they start pouring the pressure on the EU...What they will be doing after the elections is another matter!

thats funny where exactly is your question?...delusions of grandeur if you actually think the tcs count in all this...

and if the akp is trying to win more votes why would they then introduce an austerity package at this time?...is it because they want to project the tcs as freeloaders by calling them parasites to the turkish voter?...

but never the less you have won a banana for chest beating...

this is how the game is gonna be played out birturk...turkey will have to make a move on everything concerning the eu...especially on cyprus...they need to do something after the elections...this is gonna happen at the 11th hr...coz comes next year the roc will take the helm of the eu...well you figure it out what would that mean to turkey...

ofcource turkey reserves the right to walk away and become the laughing stock of the eu as the only nation than couldn't make it...

but highly unlikely as turkey wants to become a world player by rubbing shoulders with the big boys within the eu...

Boomers,it is better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you have nothing to say, than open it and remove all doubt...

You have no idea about the internal politics in Turkey...Being tough on the TCs is a vote winner in Turkey...I won't tell you why,you can do some homework and find out...

I know you would dearly love to be right about Turkey wanting to get into the EU,because you have put all your hopes in it,but you will be terribly disappointed...Erdogan and his party is not in the least bit interested in the EU,it does not fit in with their overall ambition for Turkey...I won't tell you what that is either, you can find that out too by yourself... :)

where is the winning for akp bad mouthing the tcs?...where is the gain?...

yo are wrong as far as turkey wanting to join the eu...you think a towel head union is gonna give turkey the recognition she craves?...

the only recognition turkey craves runs via the eu, rubbing shoulders with the next superpower, rubbing shoulders with the elite...turkey's economy runs via the eu...

the eu recently signed a free trade agreement with sth korea...you know what that means to turkey?...the only thing missing is a free trade agreement with china and you can kiss turkey's economy bye bye...turkey wanting or not has no choice but to try and join...

but as i always say simpletons are only happy at looking from the outside...

At least I am not deluding myself like you are...Just watch the events unfold in the Middle East...Very soon the EU will be on their knees asking Turkey to join ...The next superpower is not going to come out of EU...That is a hint for you...See if you can figure it out... :)
