Well, here is the kicker regarding the flag of Cyprus.

When there was a large demonstration in the north just before the 2004 referendum for the so called "Unification", Turkey encouraged TCs to bring as many Cypriot Flags as possible, but now, they are forbidden. Can we then make the case, that that demonstration was nothing but a con job demonstration orchestrated by Turkey to make believe that people were in the street to demand a peace settlement. Don't get me wrong, I think people in general thought that's what they were going to get. How would they know anything different, since they did not even get to read it yet. Imagine how sorry most TCs would be in the north today had Turkey gotten hold of the north officially through the disguised Annan Plan. If some TC's are upset with Turkey today, the majority would have been very upset had the AP passed.

Confiscating flags... obviously means they're
feeling threatened by the good old ROC.

Well done NC's. I'm proud of you.

Wasn't the flag designed by a Turkish Cypriot?

Shocked? Dont you know me yet? I might disagree with some GCs about somethings, but I always believed in a Greater Cyprus, not a divided country.

I am shocked at you.....

anyone calling themselves a turkish cypriot who sides with the authorities over this flags incident is a treacherous coward with the balls of a slithering serpent.
