driving is my passion...drove to sydney and back in 22 hrs, from melbourne, thats 2000 kms...drove surfers to melbourne in under 17 hrs, 2100 kms...ok i got a ticket on this trip... :lol:

Yes it would be boring if you didn't have some place nice to go to.

In Sydney it can take up to 1.5 hours to drive from the Western Suburbs to the CBD. I couldn't think of anything worse which is why I have only lived in the inner suburbs and then go to the beach shack in the country when I have some time off. That is about a 2 hour drive to get there, which is nothing really.

We are into our big 4WDs here since the intention is to one day drive around Australia and go camping in the Flinders Rangers and what not, and to tow the boat back to the city which I usually garage at the shack!

I don't find this boring at all!
