CYPRUS TURKS AND TURKEY INSEPARABLE
The Founding President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Rauf Denktaş paid a visit to the TRNC branch of the Turkish Cultural Association today. During the visit, Denktaş emphasized the fact that the Cyprus Turkish People and motherland Turkey are inseparable.
Speaking during today’s visit, the Founding President Denktaş touched upon yesterday’s mass rally held against the economic package, stating that the rally gave out the message that Cyprus Turks are determined not to give up their sovereignty and motherland Turkey’s guarantorship.
He said the rally proved to the Greek Cypriot Side that separation of Cyprus Turks from their motherland, which is among its goals, is no way possible.
Welcoming Denktaş, the President of the Cyprus Turkish Cultural Association Ahmet Göksan said that it is impossible to resolve the Cyprus problem without motherland Turkey and complained of the Greek Cypriot Side’s ignorance of Cyprus Turks.
He also reiterated his Association’s demand for the perpetuation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
