TMT SOCIETY VISITS UBP
A delegation from the Turkish Resistance Organization Society paid a visit to the governing National Unity Party yesterday.
The delegation headed by Yılmaz Bora was received by the UBP Secretary General Ertuğrul Hasipoğlu. Speaking during the visit, the Secretary General of the National Unity Party Ertuğrul Hasipoğlu defended the government’s austerity measures, stating that they were introduced to prevent a return to the difficult times of the past.
He also called on the people to be a little more patient concerning the measures. Reminding that the protocol regarding the austerity measures existed since 2009, Hasipoğlu said that the government was trying to raise the prosperity of the people and to develop the country.
Speaking on behalf of the Society, Deputy head of the TMT Society Celal Bayar expressed support to the government’s actions.
He said that the most important thing was to preserve the existence of the state and to strengthen its economy.
